										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>In FY 2025 <a href="https://www.catenamedia.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Catena Media</a> focused on restructuring its business and refining its product strategy</strong> while at the same time showing how market pressures and changing operator behaviour are reshaping affiliate economics &#8211; <strong>see more details: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li data-section-id="1459t2b" data-start="0" data-end="321"><strong>In FY 2025 total revenue reached EUR 46.6m (FY 2024: EUR 49.6m)</strong>. The drop was mainly driven by the sports side of the business with  EUR 7.4m (FY 2024: EUR 13.9m).  <strong>Casino business grew instead reaching EUR 39.2m in FY 2025. </strong></li>
<li data-section-id="mnbkx0" data-start="323" data-end="590"><strong>Though the group reported an operating loss of EUR 9.2m in FY 2025, it managed to reduce loss levels like in FY 2024 with EUR 46.5m. </strong> Lower impairments and tighter cost control helped to reduce losses in 2025.</li>
<li data-section-id="13dclka" data-start="592" data-end="862"><strong>As part of restructuring efforts the costs side  decreased during 2025;</strong> total operating expenses reached EUR 55.8m (FY 2024: EUR 96.1m). Less impairments and less personnel costs stabilised the business.</li>
<li data-section-id="16lbue7" data-start="864" data-end="1138"><strong>As a consequence net loss for the year was only EUR 7.5m in 2025</strong>, compared to EUR 44.2m in FY 2024.</li>
<li data-section-id="e91zrn" data-start="1140" data-end="1405" data-is-last-node=""><strong>A detailed analysis of the segments shows that casino maintained stable  and transformed losses into positive a small operating profit reaching EUR 0.1m in FY 2025</strong>. Sports is still under pressure like in 2024, but losses reduced to EUR 8.5m from EUR 41.9m. That gap is still notable, though the direction of travel has improved.</li>

At the same time, MLB has agreed an integrity-focused memorandum with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.</p>
<ul data-start="592" data-end="1605">
<li data-section-id="r3cubx" data-start="592" data-end="953"><strong>MLB confirmed <a href="https://polymarket.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Polymarket</a> as its Official Prediction Market Exchange partner, giving the operator access to league marks, logos and official data via <a href="https://sportradar.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Sportradar</a>.</strong> The agreement also includes visibility across MLB’s digital channels and events. As part of the MLB Polymarket partnership, both sides will work on limiting certain market types seen as higher risk.</li>
<li data-section-id="16m0avb" data-start="958" data-end="1271"><strong>The integrity framework will restrict markets tied to specific in-game actions such as individual pitches, umpire calls and manager decisions.</strong> MLB said these areas could create integrity concerns if offered widely. Polymarket will also apply consistent integrity controls across its US Rulebook for all brokers.</li>
<li data-section-id="2xw4fm" data-start="1276" data-end="1605"><strong>Alongside the commercial deal, MLB signed an MOU with the <a href="https://www.cftc.gov/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">CFTC</a> to support information sharing around prediction markets</strong>. The two parties will exchange data confidentially and hold regular meetings to monitor risks. The agreement gives the group wider control over betting-related data and streaming rights for one of Germany’s best-known cup competitions. It also adds another major soccer property to Sportradar’s global rights business ahead of the 2026/27 season.</p>

It will begin <strong>with the 2026/27 season and includes full coverage of all 63 matches each year.</strong> The DFB-Pokal rights deal was initially secured via the IMG ARENA acquisition and is now extended directly with DFB.</p>

<p data-start="1006" data-end="1399"><strong>Sportradar will introduce skeletal data to the competition for the first time</strong>, supporting fan engagement tools already used across UEFA, Bundesliga and NBA properties. The company continues to develop AI-driven betting products such as micro markets and live player markets. These tools are positioned to help operators increase engagement and monetisation through the DFB-Pokal rights deal.</p>

<p data-start="1403" data-end="1801">Commenting on the agreement, <strong>Moritz Gloeckler said: “Our extension of the agreement with DFB is a key addition to our already strong portfolio of global soccer rights.”</strong> DFB added the deal will expand international distribution while maintaining integrity standards for betting streaming rights. <strong>Sportradar currently distributes content to more than 800 operators and 1,500 media clients globally.</strong></p>
