BetMakers Technology Group has renewed its agreement with the UK Tote Group, ensuring its Quantum software remains central to tote betting in the UK and Ireland. The deal, extending until June 2029, secures a mix of fixed and variable revenue for BetMakers. The agreement is expected to generate at least A$4M (€2.45M) annually.
BetMakers’ Quantum software will continue as the core pools wagering platform for UK Tote operations across British and Irish racecourses. It will also handle incoming global betting pools, including World Pool events.
The UK Tote Group is BetMakers’ largest Global Tote customer, reinforcing the importance of this partnership. The agreement ensures BetMakers remains a key technology provider for tote betting in the region.
Revenue from the agreement consists of both fixed fees and variable earnings based on turnover. The projected A$4M (€2.45M) annual revenue is an estimate based on expected turnover and current exchange rates.
The agreement includes standard contract terms, such as a 12-month notice period for termination by the UK Tote Group. Both parties retain rights to terminate in case of a material breach.
Phill Jones, Chief Product and Technology Officer at the UK Tote Group, stated: “BetMakers are an excellent partner for the UK Tote, and we are excited to be renewing our partnership until 2029.”
Jake Henson, CEO of BetMakers, emphasized the significance of the deal, noting that the partnership will enhance UK and Irish racing’s reach while improving wagering experiences.
BetMakers aims to leverage its global network to boost liquidity in domestic pools, supporting the long-term growth of racing and betting markets in the UK and Ireland.
