Kambi and BetCity are extending their successful sportsbook collaboration in the Netherlands. The Entain-owned brand will continue utilizing Kambi’s Turnkey Sportsbook technology. This deal reinforces their commitment to the competitive regulated Dutch market.
Kambi and BetCity first partnered in 2021, launching on the day the Netherlands’ regulated online gambling market opened. BetCity quickly became one of the country’s top brands.
The extended agreement ensures BetCity will keep using Kambi’s Turnkey Sportsbook, a leading end-to-end betting solution. It also integrates Shape Games’ native app technology to enhance user experience.
Entain acquired BetCity in 2022, strengthening its global sports betting and gaming portfolio. The extended deal confirms Kambi’s key role in supporting Entain’s expansion in the Dutch market.
Kambi CEO Werner Becher highlighted the strong relationship between the companies, stating, “This agreement reflects the strong relationship we have built over the past few years and underscores Kambi’s commitment to empowering partners with the premium technology and services needed to succeed in regulated markets.”
BetCity CEO Vic Walia emphasized the partnership’s impact, noting that Kambi’s technology and service have been crucial to their success. He expressed enthusiasm for continuing the collaboration to deliver a premium betting experience in the Netherlands.
This multi-year extension secures stability for BetCity’s sportsbook offering and reinforces Kambi’s presence in one of Europe’s key regulated betting markets.
