Paf is tightening its responsible gaming measures again. The company is lowering the yearly mandatory Paf loss limit for all customers. At the same time, the loss limit for young players aged 20-24 will also be reduced.
The new loss limit will be reduced from €17,500 to €16,000 per year. This limit applies to all game categories and all gaming sites operated by Paf. Customers can set their own lower limits, but they cannot exceed the mandatory cap.
The loss limit for young customers aged 20-24 is being lowered from €8,000 to €6,000 per year. Paf aims to prioritise responsible gaming for younger players by continuously adjusting limits. Daniela Johansson, Deputy CEO, stated, “It is a concrete thing to do and it is the right thing to do.”
The company has implemented an extra-low limit for 18-19-year-olds to €1,800 per year.
Paf remains the only international gaming company with mandatory loss limits. This approach makes the company unique in regulated gaming markets where it competes with other operators.
Paf supports centralised deposit limits as a tool to enhance responsible gaming. The company believes such a system could be connected to national self-exclusion registers, preventing customers from bypassing limits by switching operators. Johansson highlighted that this would “significantly improve responsible gaming.”
