  • Jim Murren steps into the Chairman role with decades of experience in gaming and hospitality. He led MGM Resorts as CEO, guiding the company through significant expansion. In addition, he actively contributes to organizations like Cirque du Soleil, Playstudios, and Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
  • Alex Dixon, a Las Vegas native, will begin his CEO role on January 16, 2025. He brings over 20 years of experience from gaming, real estate, and banking sectors, including roles at MGM Resorts and Goldman Sachs. Dixon has a reputation for transforming legacy brands, maximizing real estate, and building strong teams.
  • The Board of Directors includes four members with varied expertise in gaming, law, and hospitality. Jim Murren serves as Chairman, joined by A.G. Burnett and Michelle DiTondo as independent directors, and Kong Han Tan as a non-independent director. The Board will help steer Resorts World’s governance and long-term goals.
  • A.G. Burnett, an independent director, brings a wealth of regulatory experience. As a former Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, he developed gaming policies and regulations. He now works at McDonald Carano, advising on gaming and administrative law.
  • Michelle DiTondo, another independent director, focuses on talent management and culture strategies. She worked for over 13 years at MGM Resorts, where she advised executives on inclusion and workforce planning. DiTondo also supports nonprofit organizations through board memberships.
  • Kong Han Tan, the non-independent director, represents Genting Berhad, the parent company of Resorts World Las Vegas. He uses his investment banking and corporate leadership experience to align Resorts World’s goals with its parent organization. Tan also oversees Genting’s global operations.
