Brazilian football integrity is getting a fresh boost. The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) and Sportradar are renewing their exclusive partnership. Starting with the 2025 season, the deal brings broader monitoring coverage than ever before.
Sportradar will provide integrity monitoring for over 8,200 matches organized annually by the CBF. This includes men’s and women’s matches across all national championships. The UFDS system will be used to detect suspicious activity.
More than 10,000 Brazilian football matches will be covered in total during the 2025 season. This includes joint monitoring efforts from Sportradar, CBF’s Integrity Unit and FIFA. CBF President Ednaldo Rodrigues called it “an impressive and symbolic milestone.”
The extended partnership comes as match-fixing trends show improvement globally. Sportradar’s 2024 Integrity in Action report shows a 17% drop in suspected match manipulation worldwide. Brazil had 53 fewer suspicious matches in 2024 compared to 2023, a 48% decline.
Sportradar’s UFDS has been in place with CBF since 2018. The system uses data-driven analytics and is operated by experts in match-fixing detection. The ongoing deal confirms Sportradar as CBF’s exclusive integrity partner.
Sportradar also supports global bodies like FIFA, UEFA, and CONMEBOL. The Brazilian football integrity push is part of a broader effort involving over 270 sports and regulatory bodies. Andreas Krannich of Sportradar said the new deal gives Brazil “the most comprehensive coverage” to date.
