Tipico is taking its next step in German football. The betting company is now also teaming up with the 3. Liga. With the new Tipico 3. Liga deal, it expands its DFB partnership and secures major advertising rights.

  • Starting July 1, Tipico becomes the official partner of Germany’s 3. Liga. The deal with the German Football Association DFB runs for three seasons, through to the end of 2027/2028. Tipico already partners with the DFB Cup, Bundesliga, and 2nd Bundesliga.

  • The agreement includes exclusive advertising rights like logo placement on the right sleeve of all 3rd League team kits. Tipico’s brand will also appear in stadiums on TV-visible perimeter boards. Digital rights are also part of the contract.

  • Most of the revenue from the Tipico 3. Liga deal goes directly to the 20 clubs in the league. The funds are distributed annually to support club operations. The goal is to help boost the league’s overall visibility and appeal.

  • Dr. Holger Blask from the DFB highlighted the timing of the deal: “This good news caps off a year full of attendance records.” He also stressed that the DFB supports regulated betting and aims to protect players and game integrity.

  • Tipico’s marketing director Kajetan Strini-Brown said: “The 3. Liga is pure football—passion, packed stadiums, and drama—it’s a perfect fit for Tipico!” The new partnership completes Tipico’s involvement across all German pro leagues.

  • Tipico has been offering licensed betting products in Germany since 2004. The company has invested in secure platforms and player protection systems for over 15 years. Tipico appears on Germany’s official whitelist of approved betting providers.
