Evoke reported H1 2026 figures – see more details:
- Group revenue was GBP 887.5m (ca. EUR 1bn), almost unchanged year-on-year. Higher gaming duties came mainly from the UK, Italy and Romania. Profit before tax fell to GBP 0.7m (ca. EUR 0.82m) from GBP 12.6m (ca. EUR 14.8m).
- UK and Ireland online revenue rose 3.5% to GBP 348.1m (ca. EUR 408m). Gaming grew 6.7%, while betting revenue fell 2.4%. Adjusted EBITDA reached GBP 77m (ca. EUR 90m) during Evoke H1 2026.
- Retail revenue declined 2.6%, partly due to William Hill shop closures. Evoke had 1,024 shops at the end of June, down from 1,302 a year earlier. Retail adjusted EBITDA still increased 5%.
- International results were hit by higher taxes and weaker trading in Spain and Romania. Italy revenue increased 21%, while Denmark grew 13%. CFO Sean Wilkins called the first-half international performance “disappointing”.
- Evoke operates William Hill and 888 across online betting, casino and retail betting. Net debt stood at around GBP 1.89bn (ca. EUR 2.21bn), up from GBP 1.86bn (ca. EUR 2.18bn) a year earlier. The group is also preparing for its planned acquisition by Bally’s Intralot.
