MGM Resorts and BetMGM have announced USD 320,000 (ca. EUR 371,000) in funding for responsible gaming initiatives. The BetMGM responsible gaming commitment supports research and problem gambling organisations. The announcement comes during Responsible Gaming Education Month.

  • The USD 320,000 will support research and problem gambling services. Recipients include the International Center for Responsible Gaming and several state councils. Funding will also go to the Evive Foundation.
  • GameSense messaging is expanding across US sports venues. New locations include T-Mobile Arena and Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas. The programme is already present at several NFL and MLB venues.
  • More than 3,000 MGM Resorts and BetMGM employees are certified GameSense Advisors. Training covers staff across more than 45 departments. BetMGM responsible gaming messaging will also run across digital and retail channels.
  • BetMGM Chief Compliance Officer Rhea Loney said: “Player protection is a priority every day at BetMGM.” September activities also include customer surveys and targeted emails. Employee training with EPIC Global Solutions will continue.
