GiG Software CEO Richard Carter has bought 1.5 million shares in the company. The GiG CEO shares purchase takes his total holding above five million. GiG disclosed the transaction on September 2.
- Carter purchased 1.5 million GiG Software shares. He is classified as a person discharging managerial responsibility. GiG did not disclose the purchase price.
- The purchase takes Carter’s holding to 5,087,451 shares. The GiG CEO shares transaction increased his position by around 42%. He previously held about 3.59 million shares.
- GiG said management and directors hold 3% of its issued share capital. The company provides technology to online gambling operators. Its shares trade in Stockholm under GiG SDB.
- The purchase follows recent financing activity at GiG. The company previously raised EUR 8.5 million through a directed share issue and convertible loans. Carter’s purchase was announced separately.
- GiG is a B2B technology supplier to online gambling operators. It provides platform and sportsbook technology used to run online casino and betting brands. Its services include player management, integrations and tools for regulated markets.
