The Dutch Gambling Authority (Ksa) has issued the first eight follow-on licences for online gambling. They replace licences issued when the regulated market opened in 2021.

• Eight operators received follow-on licences: TOTO Online, Holland Casino, Play North, FPO Nederland, Bingoal Nederland, Hillside, NSUS Malta and Betent. Their brands include TOTO, Winnitt, Holland Casino Online, Kansino, FairPlay Casino, Bingoal, bet365, GG Poker and Betcity. They can continue operating in the regulated Dutch market.
• The Netherlands gambling licences cover another five years. The current licences expire at the end of September 2026. The new permits run through September 2031.
• The Ksa also reviewed previous violations by applicants. Operators had to explain how they addressed these issues. The regulator also looked at measures taken to prevent them from happening again.
• All eight operators met the requirements for new licences. Some received additional points for attention from the Ksa.
