White Hat Gaming has appointed Leon Thomas as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). The Leon Thomas White Hat appointment adds an executive with more than 20 years of regulated gaming experience. He will oversee sales, marketing and partnerships.

• Thomas most recently served as VP International at Hard Rock Digital. He worked on the operator’s expansion into Canada, the Netherlands and Mexico. He previously managed Entain’s Canadian-facing brands, including Sports Interaction.
• His background also includes B2B roles at Microgaming and IWG. The Leon Thomas White Hat appointment therefore brings experience from both the operator and supplier sides of the industry. “He knows exactly what operators need from a platform partner,” White Hat Gaming CEO Phil Gelvan said.
• Thomas will focus on sales, marketing and partnerships at White Hat Gaming. The company said it is targeting operators switching from providers that are consolidating or retiring products, as well as brands entering regulated markets.
