Betsson Group has launched the Betsson Foundation, a separate legal entity based in Malta. The Betsson Foundation will bring the group’s community, charity and sports projects under one structure. Sport will be one of its main areas of activity.

• The Betsson Foundation will manage both existing and new initiatives linked to communities, charities and sport. It will also work alongside Betsson’s sports partnerships and sponsorship activities.
• One current project is Boosting Up in Peru, a five-year programme involving 22 participants in Lima. It combines football training with English lessons and nutritional support.
• Betsson said the new structure is intended to give its community work a clearer framework. CEO Jesper Svensson said: “We have always believed that our role extends beyond entertainment.”
