German betting operator pferdewetten.de AG has appointed Frank Hartmann as CFO and Co-CEO from January 1, 2027. The Pferdewetten Frank Hartmann appointment creates a joint leadership structure with current CEO Christian Gruber.

• New responsibilities: Hartmann will oversee finance, controlling, compliance, legal affairs and investor relations. He joins the management board in January 2027. He will advise the company from mid-November 2026.
• Professional background: Hartmann previously worked at Deutsche Bank and was CFO of net mobile AG. From 2014 to 2024, he served as managing director and CFO of payment provider Payone. His experience includes corporate finance and company transactions.
• Company operations: Düsseldorf-based Pferdewetten operates horse racing and sports betting through pferdewetten.de and sportwetten.de. The company also runs retail betting shops and offers B2B services. The Pferdewetten Frank Hartmann appointment follows Gruber’s move to CEO in January 2026.
