Big news for sports fans in Canada: ToonieBet just signed on as the official sports betting and casino partner of the Canadian Football League. This move strengthens the ToonieBet CFL partnership and brings fresh ways for fans to connect with the action. The agreement also covers the Grey Cup, the country’s biggest sporting event.
ToonieBet will let Ontario fans aged 19 and up place bets on CFL games, including in-game options and futures. The partnership also plans to launch exclusive branded casino experiences on the ToonieBet platform to draw in new fans and keep existing ones engaged.
The multiyear deal makes ToonieBet an official partner of the Grey Cup, set for November 16 at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg. The championship game is Canada’s largest single-day sports event and a major highlight for local fans every year.
This ToonieBet CFL partnership is part of Soft2Bet’s broader push into Canadian sports. It follows ToonieBet’s recent move with the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, where the brand expanded from online casino to a full sportsbook offering.
CFL Chief Revenue Officer Tyler Keenan said, “This partnership is for the fans. Together with ToonieBet, we will unlock exciting avenues of entertainment, delivering new products, responsible gaming options and unique activations, to better serve the future of fandom.”
Steve Spindler, ToonieBet’s Canadian Country Manager, highlighted the brand’s focus on the fan experience and safe gaming. He stressed that this move helps them grow their community in Ontario and deepen their connection with local sports enthusiasts.
Soft2Bet’s Chief Business Development Officer Martin Collins emphasized that the ToonieBet CFL partnership is more than just visibility. He explained that working with a trusted league like the CFL helps build credibility and allows ToonieBet to offer official data-driven experiences to sports fans.
ToonieBet will also become the presenting partner of CFL Fantasy and Gametracker in Ontario on CFL.ca and LCF.ca. Plus, they’ll be the official odds provider for the league’s digital scoreboard, bringing betting insights directly to fans.
