Light & Wonder just made a big move in the Middle East. The company has secured a UAE gaming license, opening the door to a fresh audience. It’s one of the first global suppliers cleared by the new national gaming authority.

• The General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) approved Light & Wonder to operate as a gaming-related vendor in the UAE. The license lets the company offer land-based electronic slots and table game utilities, plus online iGaming content. The UAE gaming license marks a major step into a market that only recently began regulating commercial gaming.
