Flamengo has locked in a major sponsorship with Betano, naming the operator as its new master partner. The Flamengo Betano partnership will cover football, Olympic sports and even Flamengo TV. The deal is being called the biggest commercial agreement in Brazilian football so far.

  • The agreement stretches beyond men’s football, with Betano’s brand appearing in volleyball, basketball and women’s football too. This gives the operator exposure across the club’s entire sporting structure. Flamengo TV is also part of the deal, adding more visibility for Betano.

  • Betano is already active in several international betting markets. Known for pushing new ideas in online sports betting, the company has built up strong recognition globally. That worldwide presence fits well with Flamengo’s plan to grow its reach outside Brazil.

  • Flamengo has labeled the deal the largest sponsorship in the history of Brazilian football. The club pointed to the weight of its brand as key to securing such a contract. Betano’s standing as a global betting operator was another reason the deal came together.

  • In its statement, Flamengo said: “We thank Betano for its trust and for choosing Flamengo as its global partner.” The club framed the deal as more than just a domestic sponsorship. Both sides see it as a wider international alliance.

  • The agreement still needs a final green light from Flamengo’s Deliberative Council. A vote is scheduled for 19 August 2025. Once signed off, the Flamengo Betano partnership will officially begin.
