Bragg Gaming Group has brought back a familiar face to take charge of its commercial push. The company has confirmed the Bragg Gaming appointment of Matej Filipančič as its new global sales director. He will lead worldwide sales efforts from Bragg’s office in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

  • Filipančič rejoins Bragg after previously spending more than five years at the company. In his earlier role as head of turnkey solutions, he played a key part in tailoring Bragg’s PAM platform for new regulated markets. That included the Netherlands, which has since become the company’s largest market.

  • Before rejoining Bragg, he held senior roles at Gaming Innovation Group (GiG). His work there included serving as regional head of sales and later as business development director. This experience adds to his long track record in iGaming business development.

  • The newly created role of global sales director tasks him with leading Bragg’s global sales strategy. His focus will be on driving growth of the company’s aggregation platform, proprietary content, PAM system, and Fuze AI-powered engagement tools.

  • Bragg stressed that Filipančič’s deep knowledge of its product suite will be an advantage. He is expected to strengthen client relationships and showcase the company’s technology to partners worldwide. This move highlights Bragg’s plan to extend its reach in regulated markets.

  • Chief commercial officer Neill Whyte welcomed the appointment, citing Filipančič’s “deep industry knowledge and strategic vision.” He said Filipančič’s understanding of partner needs makes him well placed to drive the company’s commercial growth.
