BetMGM has promoted Jarrod Schwarz to Chief Operating Officer, a newly created role. The BetMGM COO appointment follows his nearly five-year stint as Chief Product Officer. He will now oversee product, customer operations, technology, and trading across the business.

  • CEO Adam Greenblatt said Schwarz has been “integral” to building BetMGM into a recognizable sports betting and iGaming brand. Greenblatt praised his leadership and strategic focus, adding the move will help the company continue to deliver strong products and player experiences.

  • Schwarz brings more than 20 years of digital product expertise, including seven years at Disney, where he was involved in launching ESPN+. He also spent six years at eBay and served as VP of Product at Bloomspot, later acquired by JP Morgan Chase.

  • Schwarz said he was “grateful for the opportunity” and committed to building on BetMGM’s momentum in sports betting and iGaming. He added that he looks forward to driving innovation with the team and strengthening the company’s market position.
