Brightstar Lottery has signed a two-year contract extension with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, allowing it to continue providing technology and services for the Texas Lottery through August 2028. The move strengthens a long-standing relationship between Brightstar and one of the largest U.S. state lotteries. The company said it remains committed to supporting Texas with secure, efficient, and innovative lottery systems.
The Brightstar Texas Lottery contract was extended immediately, running until August 31, 2028. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation oversees the lottery’s operations, and Brightstar will continue to supply core systems and technical services to support them.
Brightstar’s Chief Operating Officer for North America Lottery, Scott Gunn, said, “We look forward to continuing to work productively with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.” The company highlighted its ongoing success and collaborative relationship in the state.
Brightstar serves nearly 90 lottery customers worldwide, including 26 of 46 U.S. jurisdictions. Its technology supports eight of the world’s ten largest lotteries, reinforcing its strong global footprint.
