Tipico has launched its new annual brand initiative under the slogan “Du bist Tipico”. The Tipico football campaign is built around the idea that football is part of fans’ everyday lives, far beyond the stadium. With the new message, Tipico positions itself closer to supporters and their daily connection to the game.
The campaign made its first on-air appearance shortly before the Bundesliga match between Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund. A 15-second image spot was broadcast live on Sky and Sat.1 to ensure broad national reach. Tipico deliberately chose a high-profile fixture to introduce the Tipico football campaign.
“Du bist Tipico” marks the first time the operator directly addresses fans in this way. The slogan is intended to reflect a shared football culture between supporters and the brand. Alongside the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga, the campaign also includes the DFB-Pokal and the 3. Liga.
Tipico underlines advertising as a key factor in directing customers toward legal betting offers. Director of sports brand & marketing acquisition Kajetan Strini-Brown said: “Only if our offer is visible can player protection and prevention measures take effect.” According to Tipico, clear advertising helps distinguish licensed operators from illegal market alternatives.
