Danske Spil has published its annual report for 2025, reporting the highest net profit in its history.  The operator delivered the performance in a market with stronger international competition and changing player habits – see more details:

  • Danske Spil reported a GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue) of DKK 5.158bn (ca. EUR 690m) during the year (2024 GGR: DKK 5.256bn or EUR 703m).   Danske Spil reported net profit of DKK 2.008bn (ca. EUR 269m) in 2025, up from DKK 1.948bn (ca. EUR 261m) in 2024.  Overall, the Danske Spil results reflect stable performance despite growing competition in Denmark.

  • The company contributed DKK 3.148bn (ca. EUR 421m) to society through taxes, duties and public funding. Of that amount, DKK 1.787bn (ca. EUR 239m) was allocated to Denmark’s distribution funds supporting sports, culture and social initiatives. These payments remain a central element of the operator’s business model.

  • Lottery products continued to perform strongly during the year. A Danish player won DKK 149m (ca. EUR 20m) in Eurojackpot in December 2025, one of the year’s largest prizes. Seasonal products such as Easter Lotto and Christmas Lotto also delivered higher sales.

  • Online and mobile gambling activity also developed positively in 2025. Online casino recorded growth, while betting through brands such as Danske Licens Spil and Oddset remained active around national events.  The online share of GGR increased from 67% to 70%, while retail decreased from 33% to 30%, indicating a continued shift toward online sales during 2025.

  • Looking ahead, the operator expects GGR to be between DKK 5.2bn and DKK 5.3bn in 2026 (ca. EUR 696m and EUR 709m). Net profit is forecast to reach between DKK 1.95bn and DKK 2.05bn (ca. EUR 261m and EUR 274m).  These projections place next year broadly in line with the latest Danske Spil results.
