Allwyn has appointed Katie Harbron as its new Allwyn Director of Games. She will join the business this month and report to Richard Dawkins, managing director of digital. The move comes as Allwyn looks to develop The National Lottery’s games portfolio.

  • Harbron will oversee the development of The National Lottery’s draw-based and instant win portfolio. The role focuses on product performance and future game innovation.

  • Harbron joins from MrQ, where she was chief product officer, and has previously held senior roles at Flutter, Sky Betting & Gaming and Tombola. Her background covers product, content and commercial strategy. Allwyn said this experience will support ongoing portfolio development.

  • The National Lottery raises around GBP 32m (ca. EUR 37m) per week for Good Causes across the UK. Since 1994, it has generated more than GBP 52bn (ca. EUR 60bn) for over 670,000 projects and paid out GBP 102bn (ca. EUR 118bn) in prizes. Harbron’s remit links game development with sustaining these funding levels.
