Better Collective has wrapped up its 2026 AGM with a board change now made official. Shareholders elected Thomas Plenborg as chair, completing the Better Collective chair transition announced by the company. The move comes as the affiliate group prepares for its next stage of development.
- Shareholders approved Thomas Plenborg as the new chair at the AGM on 24 March 2026. He replaces Jens Bager, who decided not to stand for re-election after nearly a decade in the role. The Better Collective chair transition was completed through a formal shareholder vote.
- Plenborg joined the board in 2025 and brings experience from academia and corporate leadership. He is a professor at Copenhagen Business School and chair of DSV, where he has worked on large-scale acquisitions and integration. Better Collective said this background supports its governance and financial oversight during the Better Collective chair transition.
- Shareholders also re-elected vice chair Therese Hillman and board members René Efraim Rechtman, Leif Nørgaard, Britt Ingrid Boeskov and Todd Dunlap. In his first statement as chair, Plenborg said: “I would like to express my appreciation to Jens for his leadership and long standing commitment to Better Collective.” The board structure remains unchanged aside from the Better Collective chair transition.
