Veikkaus has confirmed a new addition to its executive team as part of ongoing changes. The Veikkaus CFO appointment comes as the operator prepares for structural reform. Ilkka Kosola will take up the role by the end of September 2026.

• Ilkka Kosola has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and will join the executive management team. He is expected to assume the role by late September 2026. The Veikkaus CFO appointment aligns with ongoing organisational changes.
• Kosola joins from Reaktor, where he served as Group CFO, and has previously held similar roles at Adven Group. His experience includes positions at TietoEvery, Basware and Fortum, covering finance leadership and corporate development. His background also includes mergers and acquisitions and digital finance systems.
• Veikkaus is working towards a partial multi-license model as part of its 2030 strategy. CEO Olli Sarekoski said: “Ilkka’s broad and international experience in leading finance and IT functions… makes him an excellent fit.” The Veikkaus CFO appointment is intended to support this transition and long-term planning.
