Greentube has moved into the Czech Republic with a full takeover of Kingsbet CZ. The deal marks its entry into the local B2C space. The Greentube Kingsbet acquisition reflects a broader push into regulated European markets – see more details:

  • Greentube confirmed it has acquired 100% of Kingsbet CZ, an established sportsbook and casino operator. The deal gives the NOVOMATIC division direct access to the Czech online gaming sector. It also strengthens its presence in Central and Eastern Europe.

  • The Czech market continues to show steady growth, supported by a regulated framework. Data from the Ministry of Finance shows total GGR reached CZK 68bn (EUR 2.7bn) in 2025. Online gambling accounted for 59.2% of that figure, highlighting digital channel growth.

  • Through the Greentube Kingsbet acquisition, the company gains local operational capabilities. Kingsbet brings market knowledge and an existing customer base. This is expected to support long-term positioning in the country.

  • Ronald van den Brink, CCO at Greentube, said the move aligns with wider strategy. He noted: “Entering the Czech market is a natural step in our long-term growth strategy.” He also pointed to the country’s regulatory maturity within Europe.

  • Kingsbet management will remain involved following the transaction. CEO David Vaněk said the partnership opens access to new resources. He added it would support further development of products and services.

  • The deal also allows Kingsbet to tap into Greentube’s technology and game portfolio. This includes content from NOVOMATIC-linked studios. The integration is expected to strengthen the operator’s offering locally.

  • The Greentube Kingsbet acquisition remains subject to regulatory approval. Standard conditions must be met before completion. No timeline for finalisation has been disclosed.
