Banijay started 2026 with higher revenue across several business areas. The group reported growth in both content production and online betting operations during the first quarter. Banijay Q1 2026 figures also showed continued expansion for its online sports betting and gaming brands.
- Banijay Group’s total Q1 2026 revenue was ca. EUR 1.15bn, a plus of 5.8% compared to Q1 2025. Adjusted EBITDA reached 196.6m in Q1 2026, 3.1% up from the same time period in 2025.
- Banijay’s online sports betting and gaming division reported EUR 433.1m in revenue during Q1 2026. That was up 13.7% year-on-year.
- Sportsbook remained the largest part of Banijay’s online gambling business in Q1 2026, generating EUR 326.5m in revenue, up 10.4% year-on-year. Casino revenue reached EUR 70.2m, an increase of 25.4%. Poker added EUR 30.3m (Q1 2025: EUR 23.6m), while turf betting contributed EUR 6.2m during the quarter (Q1 2025: EUR 5.5m).
- The online gambling segment accounted for around 38% of Banijay Group’s total Q1 2026 revenue of EUR 1.15bn (Q1 2025: ca. 35%).
- Non-gambling activities, including content production, distribution and live entertainment, generated around EUR 714.5m in combined revenue during the quarter (Q1 2025: EUR 703.6m).
- Banijay does not operate land-based casinos or retail betting shops, so its gambling business is fully online. The company’s gambling revenue comes from online sportsbook and casino operations. This creates a clear split between digital gambling income and non-gaming entertainment revenue.
- Chief executive François Riahi said the company delivered a solid start to 2026 across both online betting and entertainment operations. Banijay maintained its full-year guidance after the Q1 update.
