Inspired Entertainment confirmed a change in its finance leadership team as long-serving CFO Stewart Baker will leave the business in June 2026 after more than nine years in the role.
- Inspired said Baker will step down as CFO and Treasurer effective 15 June 2026. He will remain with the business until that date to support the handover process. The company did not announce a reason for his departure.
- James Richardson has been appointed interim CFO while Inspired searches for a permanent replacement. Richardson has previously held senior finance positions at FanDuel, Scientific Games and The Stars Group. The company said he brings experience across gaming, betting and digital entertainment businesses.
- CEO Brooks Pierce said Baker helped guide the company’s financial strategy and development through several stages of growth. The executive also noted his role in supporting operational and capital market activities.
- The Inspired CFO transition comes as suppliers across the gambling sector continue to adjust senior management structures in response to changing market conditions. Finance leadership changes have remained active across both B2B and B2C businesses in 2026. Inspired has not yet provided a timeline for appointing a permanent CFO.
