Relevent – a U.S.-based sports media and commercial rights company – has announced a new commercial agreement between the Bundesliga and Polymarket in the U.S. The Bundesliga Polymarket partnership will begin with the start of the 2026-27 season in August. It marks the Bundesliga’s first official prediction market sponsorship in the United States.
- Under the multi-year agreement, Polymarket becomes the Bundesliga’s Official Prediction Market Partner in the U.S. Users will be able to trade event contracts based on Bundesliga match outcomes throughout the season. The Bundesliga Polymarket partnership also includes digital and social media content focused on predictions and markets.
- Polymarket receives exclusive rights to use Bundesliga and collective club intellectual property in a listed prediction market format. Sportradar remains the league’s exclusive betting, streaming and data partner. Any supply of official Bundesliga data to Polymarket will require a separate commercial agreement.
- Robin Austermann, Executive Vice President of Bundesliga Americas, said: “Partnerships like this one are a testament to our long-term collaboration with Relevent to grow German soccer in the region.” He added that the league will continue to promote its “Football As It’s Meant to Be” campaign across the Americas. The Bundesliga Polymarket partnership supports the league’s expansion strategy in the U.S. market.
- The agreement adds the Bundesliga to Polymarket’s growing list of sports partnerships. The company already has official agreements with LALIGA, Serie A, MLB, NHL, UFC and MLS. Ari Borod, President of Sports Business Development at Polymarket, said the partnership allows the company to serve Bundesliga fans in the U.S. “with the credibility the league deserves.”
