Momentum and Fanatics have announced a strategic partnership in the UAE (United Arab Emirates). The Fanatics Momentum joint venture combines Momentum’s regional expertise with Fanatics’ technology and operational capabilities. The new business will focus on expanding licensed commercial gaming activities in the country.

• The joint venture will operate and grow the commercial gaming activities currently licensed to Momentum in the UAE. These include The UAE Lottery and Play971, the company’s iGaming and sportsbook platform. Both operations are licensed by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA).
• The Fanatics Momentum joint venture combines Momentum’s local market knowledge with Fanatics’ global product, technology, and operational scale. The companies said the partnership is designed to support the development of commercial gaming in the UAE. The agreement also aims to strengthen their long-term position in the market.
• The companies said they will focus on improving the customer experience while supporting responsible gaming and player protection. The partnership also intends to contribute to the development of the UAE’s commercial gaming industry. “This is just the beginning,” the companies said in the announcement.
• Momentum currently operates licensed gaming activities in the UAE, while Fanatics brings experience from international digital gaming and technology markets. The Fanatics Momentum joint venture is expected to oversee future commercial growth under the existing regulatory framework.
