France has appointed a new President for the National Gambling Authority (ANJ). The renewed ANJ board held its first meeting on 2 July following the latest appointments.
- Pascal Chèvremont was appointed President of the ANJ by decree of the President of the French Republic dated 22 June 2026. His appointment was announced by the regulator on 3 July. Pascal Chèvremont now takes over the leadership of the French gambling regulator.
- Two new members have also joined the ANJ board following the end of previous mandates on 15 June 2026. Isabelle Goanvic, adviser at the Court of Cassation, and Guillaume Airagnes, Head of the Addictology Department at Hôpital Européen Georges Pompidou, have been appointed. They replace Marie-Hélène Mitjavile and Jean-Michel Costes, whose six-year terms have concluded.
