Svenska Spel has appointed Katarina Borstedt as its new Chief People & Culture Officer. She will become part of the executive management team.
- Borstedt joins Svenska Spel from Munters FoodTech, where she was VP People & Culture. She has built her career working with organisational development, leadership and HR transformation across companies in growth and transition. Her previous roles include Chief People & Culture Officer at Proxify, Director of Growth at Northvolt, senior positions at Ahlstrom-Munksjö and Munksjö, and consulting work with PwC and Deloitte.
- As Chief People & Culture Officer, Borstedt will report directly to CEO Anna Johnson and take a seat on the executive management team. Johnson said Borstedt’s background in managing HR and organisational change will support Svenska Spel’s continued focus on sustainable growth, customer satisfaction and company culture. She added that the new executive will lead work to strengthen the organisation, leadership and internal ways of working.
- The Svenska Spel Chief People & Culture role begins in September 2026, while interim executive Joakim Karlsson returns to his permanent position as Head of Talent Acquisition & Tech.
