FanDuel has entered Alberta following the launch of the province’s regulated iGaming market. The FanDuel Alberta launch gives players access to the company’s online casino and sportsbook from July 13. The rollout also includes local partnerships and community support.
- FanDuel, part of Flutter Entertainment, launched its Casino and Sportsbook app for Alberta players aged 18 and over. The platform includes online casino games and sports betting. Dale Hooper, General Manager of FanDuel Canada, said: “Alberta represents an exciting new chapter for FanDuel Canada.”
- As part of the FanDuel Alberta launch, the company donated CAD 50,000 (ca. EUR 31,000) to A Dollar A Day Foundation for mental health programmes. It also contributed CAD 30,000 (ca. EUR 18,700) to the Canadian Red Cross Emergency Management Program in Alberta. FanDuel said it plans to continue investing in local communities.
- FanDuel Canada partnered exclusively with Light & Wonder to offer the Huff N’ Puff slot series in Alberta for the first four months after launch. The operator also renewed its multi-year partnership with the Canadian Football League, extending it to Alberta and adding casino promotions.
- The app includes Casino 101, Sports Betting 101 and responsible gaming tools for players. FanDuel Alberta launch is part of the company’s expansion into Canada’s regulated provincial markets.
