Allwyn and McLaren Racing will stage a Formula 1 showrun in Athens on 3 October 2026. The Allwyn McLaren Athens event will take place outside the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (OAKA). It is the first in a new series of fan events planned for Allwyn markets.
- Thousands of fans are expected at OAKA, where McLaren cars will run on a specially built track. The line-up includes the car that won the 2025 Constructors’ Championship and Ayrton Senna’s McLaren MP4/6. Two-time F1 world champion Mika Häkkinen will also get behind the wheel.
- The Allwyn McLaren Athens showrun will also feature former F1 drivers, historic and current cars and a fan zone. Further details on drivers and activities will be announced ahead of the event. “We’re expecting to welcome thousands of fans in October,” said Allwyn Hellas Chairman and CEO Jan Karas.
- The event is part of Allwyn’s partnership with McLaren Racing and will be followed by similar experiences in other Allwyn markets. Allwyn also has a separate multi-year partnership with Formula 1.
