Allwyn has appointed Fredrik Ögren as Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The Fredrik Ögren Allwyn appointment follows five years as CTO of Betsson Group. He will report to Kresimir Spajic, CEO of Allwyn Digital.

• Ögren will oversee Allwyn’s technology strategy across the group. His responsibilities include its technology ecosystem and platform capabilities. He will work with teams across Allwyn’s markets and central functions.
• Before joining Allwyn, Ögren spent five years as CTO of Betsson Group. There, he was responsible for technology strategy and large-scale platforms. He also supported operations across multiple regulated markets.
• Brett Cross, previously interim Group CTO, moves into a newly created role. He becomes CTO, Global Lottery & Deputy Group CTO and will report to Ögren. “Technology plays a critical role in creating great player experiences,” Ögren said.
