Allwyn has appointed Khalid Reede Jones as CEO of Allwyn North America. The move puts a former Virginia Lottery executive in charge of the group’s North American lottery business.
- Reede Jones joins from the Virginia Lottery, where he most recently served as executive director. Jones will take up the role in Chicago on 6 July 2026.
- Jones brings more than two decades of experience across lotteries, gaming regulation, licensing and investment. He will oversee the growth of Allwyn’s lottery operations in North America. This includes its role as operator of the Illinois Lottery and supplier to lottery customers across the region.
- Allwyn CEO Robert Chvátal said Jones combines regulatory expertise, commercial experience and a focus on responsible growth. Chvátal added that his digital-first approach and partnership mindset will support the company’s plans in North America. The appointment does not include oversight of fantasy sports operator PrizePicks.
