Allwyn UK has appointed Phil Walker as interim CEO from 7 September 2026. He replaces Andria Vidler after the main Fourth National Lottery licence transition work was completed. The Allwyn UK CEO change comes as the operator focuses on further digital development.
- Walker joins after six years at William Hill, where he held roles including UK & Ireland Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer. His experience covers digital, retail and commercial operations. Allwyn has started its search for a permanent Allwyn UK CEO.
- Under Vidler, Allwyn upgraded technology for 43,500 National Lottery retail partners and updated its website and app. The operator also added 1 million active digital users and introduced new games, including Powerball. Vidler will stay as an adviser until the end of October 2026 to support the transition.
- “I am excited and proud to be taking up the baton from Andria,” Walker said. The National Lottery generates more than £33 million per week on average for funded projects, with over £53 billion raised since 1994.
