ATG has named Anna Romboli as its next chief executive officer. The ATG CEO appointment follows a recruitment process that began earlier this year. Romboli will join the company in December 2026.

  • Anna Romboli currently serves as Head of Business Area Tur at Svenska Spel. Romboli succeeds Hasse Lord Skarplöth, who left the role earlier this year.
  • The ATG CEO appointment follows several months of leadership transition. ATG chairman Peter Norman has been acting CEO during the recruitment process. The board said it carried out an extensive search before selecting Romboli.
  • Peter Norman said Romboli has strong leadership experience and a solid understanding of the gambling industry. Romboli said she is looking forward to joining ATG and contributing to the company’s future development.
  • ATG – founded in 1974 – ended 2025 with 1.4 million active customers and reported SEK 6bn in total revenue across its horse racing, sports betting and casino operations. The ownership structure is as follow: 91% is owned by Svensk Travsport and 9% by Svensk Galopp.
