Bally’s Corporation has changed its finance leadership – see more details:
- Mira Mircheva resigned as CFO effective September 4. She will stay with Bally’s until September 30 to help with the handover. The company said her departure was for personal reasons.
- George Papanier has taken over as interim CFO while Bally’s searches for a permanent replacement. He remains President and a member of the Board. Papanier also served as Bally’s interim CFO in 2023.
- Papanier has more than 40 years of gaming industry experience. CEO Robeson Reeves said: “George has been instrumental in developing our business model, asset portfolio, and growth strategy.” The Bally’s CFO transition adds the finance role to Papanier’s existing responsibilities.
- Bally’s is a gambling operator with land-based casinos, online casino and sports betting activities, and has lottery exposure through its majority stake in Intralot.
