Betfred Group reported financial figures for the 52 weeks ended 29 March 2026. The Betfred financial results show that retail remains larger than online gambling. The reporting period was shorter than in 2025, making direct comparisons difficult.
- Total revenue: Group revenue reached ca. GBP 996 million (ca. EUR 1.2 billion), compared with ca. GBP 1.5 billion (ca. EUR 1.7 billion) previously. The 2025 period covered 78 weeks instead of 52 because Betfred changed its financial year-end from September to March. The figures are therefore not directly comparable.
- Online gambling: Online revenue reached around GBP 452 million (ca. EUR 535 million), compared with ca. GBP 564 million (ca. EUR 667 million) previously. The segment accounted for around 45% of group revenue. Betfred operates online in the UK, Gibraltar and South Africa.
- Retail gambling: Retail revenue was almost GBP 544 million (ca. EUR 644 million), compared with ca. GBP 895 million (ca. EUR 1.1 billion) previously. Retail contributed ca. 55% of total revenue. Betfred operates betting shops across the UK.
- Profit and development: The Betfred financial results show adjusted EBITDA of ca. GBP 141 million (ca. EUR 167 million), compared with ca. GBP 240 million (ca. EUR 284 million) previously. Net profit reached GBP 40 million (ca. EUR 47 million), compared with ca. GBP 129 million (ca. EUR 153 million). Betfred also continued its withdrawal from the US market.
