BetMGM has finally gone live in Missouri, giving players their first chance to place legal bets across the state. The launch covers both mobile betting and a new retail sportsbook, creating a mix of options from day one. With Missouri sports betting now officially open, BetMGM says it wants to give players a setup that feels familiar and easy to use.
BetMGM opened statewide mobile wagering and a retail sportsbook at Century Casino & Hotel Cape Girardeau. The company said this combination helps players choose how they want to bet and builds a straightforward entry point into Missouri sports betting. CEO Adam Greenblatt said the team is “thrilled to introduce a wide range of entertainment offerings” to local bettors.
The BetMGM app lets players earn points through BetMGM Rewards and MGM Rewards on every wager they place. These points can be cashed in for bonus bets or hotel stays at MGM Resorts and Marriott Bonvoy locations such as Bellagio, ARIA, Borgata and MGM National Harbor. BetMGM noted that the same loyalty setup used in other states will now fully apply to Missouri sports betting as well.
Missouri users can move between live markets, team and player stats, and responsible gambling tools without leaving the app. BetMGM said it focused on making the interface feel natural for first-time players while still maintaining access to safer-play features. The operator added that the app is designed to reduce friction, especially for new bettors.
New customers in Missouri can place their first bet up to $1,500, with bonus bets returned if it loses. BetMGM confirmed the usual rules, including a $10 minimum deposit and a seven-day window to use any bonus funds. The company also pointed to its GameSense integration, which is meant to keep responsible gambling guidance available on both mobile and desktop.
