Broadway Gaming has promoted Chief Operating Officer Mark Cleary to become Chief Executive Officer (see picture below). The Broadway Gaming CEO appointment signals a fresh chapter for the business, which has grown steadily in recent years under the COO’s operational leadership.

• Cleary has been part of Broadway’s senior team during a period of strong growth in the UK online bingo market.  As CEO, he’s expected to keep driving Broadway’s plans for sustainable expansion across regulated markets.

• The founder David Butler, who started the business and has led it since launch, will remain closely involved serving as Executive Chairman. His focus will be on identifying new partnerships and acquisition opportunities allowing him to shape the company’s future without being responsible for daily operations.

• In a brief company statement, Broadway said the leadership update reflects “a natural next step” for the organisation. The Broadway Gaming CEO appointment ensures stability while giving Cleary room to bring his own direction and pace to the role.
