Casinos Austria and the Austrian Lotteries Group have successfully completed their 2026 external recertification audits. The Casinos Austria recertification covered several management systems and was completed without any non-conformities. Independent auditors reviewed compliance, responsible gaming and governance processes across the group.
- External audits carried out since March 2026 assessed the group’s Compliance Management System, Corporate Social Responsibility measures, Responsible Gaming framework and anti-corruption processes. Reviews were conducted at the company headquarters, casinos in Linz, Baden, Salzburg, Kitzbühel and Graz, as well as WINWIN outlets in St. Pölten, Hallein and Vienna. All audits were completed without any non-conformities.
- The Responsible Gaming and Compliance audit confirmed that the group continues to meet the standards of the European Casino Association, European Lotteries and the Global Gambling Guidance Group. Auditors also confirmed that responsible gaming measures are being continuously improved. The Casinos Austria recertification reflects the company’s ongoing focus on compliance, governance and player protection.
- Independent auditors described the group’s management systems as operating at a consistently high level. They also noted that maintaining these standards over many years is an achievement reached by only a limited number of organisations. CEO Erwin van Lambaart said: “The renewed successful recertification is far more than a formal confirmation. It shows that we consistently fulfil our responsibility towards society, players and employees.”
- Board Member Martin Škopek said the results confirm that the group’s management systems support business stability, efficient processes and effective risk management. The company said regular recertification audits remain an important part of its governance framework and help strengthen transparency and regulatory compliance.
- Casinos Austria and the Austrian Lotteries Group operate as one corporate group covering casinos, lotteries, online gaming and sports betting. The group includes Casinos Austria, Österreichische Lotterien, WINWIN, win2day and the sports betting brand tipp3. These activities are managed under a shared governance, compliance and responsible gaming framework.
