Conor Grant will step down as chair of Racecourse Media Group (RMG) at the end of 2026. The move will mark the end of his first term in the role after just over three years.
- Grant took the role in October 2023 while initially joining the board of RMG as a non-executive director in April 2023. The group represents 37 British racecourses and operates Racing TV.
- Grant said the decision was driven by increasing work commitments and travel to the US. He noted that the end of his term was the right time to step away after overseeing strategic updates and leadership investment. He added: “After careful consideration, I believe the end of my first term is the right moment to conclude my tenure as Chair of RMG.”
- CEO Nick Mills said Grant’s leadership helped strengthen the business and position it for long-term development. During his tenure, RMG reported stable performance despite challenges across media, gambling and racing. The company will now prepare for a leadership transition ahead of 2026.
