Danske Spil has published its half-year results for 2025. The Danske Spil H1 2025 numbers show a stable picture overall, with gains in lotteries and casino offset by weaker betting – see more details for H1 2025:
- The group delivered a total Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) of DKK 2.547bn (H1 2024: 2.546bn) and net profit of DKK 999m (H1 2024: 1.000m).
Danske Lotteri Spil posted a GGR of DKK 1.477bn, up from DKK 1.449bn in H1 2024. Growth was driven by Lotto’s Easter draw and Vikinglotto, while Eurojackpot fell due to fewer high jackpots than last year.
Danske Licens Spil recorded a GGR of DKK 786m, down from DKK 826m in 2024. Sports betting declined after the Euro 2024 tournament effect last year, but casino saw growth.
Det Danske Klasselotteri delivered a GGR of DKK 141m, a rise from DKK 123m. The “15 er magisk” product, launched in late 2024, contributed to the positive result.
Elite Gaming generated a GGR of DKK 143m, slightly below last year’s DKK 148m. This area continues to face headwinds compared with lotteries and casino.
State duties decreased by DKK 14m year-on-year, reflecting lower betting and gaming income.
Dealer commissions and game-related costs fell by DKK 25m, driven by higher online sales.
Danske Spil continues to highlight responsible gambling measures under its “Spil med omtanke” programme. The company noted these initiatives also impact GGR, as some customers now play for smaller amounts.
Full-year guidance remains unchanged at GGR of DKK 5.1 to 5.3bn and net profit after tax of DKK 1.9 to 2.0bn.
