Across the ATP Finals and WTA Finals 2025, DATA.BET’s dataset (based on internal DATA.BET figures) highlighted clear contrasts in user behaviour. The men’s event generated heavier volume, while the women’s finals produced steadier, more evenly spread engagement. Together, the tournaments showed how star-driven matches and tactical depth influence betting decisions.
More users at ATP event, making up 63.5% of total bettors (ATP & WTA combined) and focusing on classic markets such as match winner and set winner. Activity intensified during momentum swings in tight sets. Higher average odds contributed to faster market movement.
In line with the higher user figures, the ATP Finals delivered also 60.5% of total stake (ATP & WTA combined) and 66.7% of all bets, driven by high-profile matches featuring Alcaraz, Sinner and Auger-Aliassime. A small cluster of matches dominated the handle across the tournament.
Pre-match betting leaned heavily toward the ATP Finals, accounting for 74.8% of combined early activity. The WTA Finals showed lower pre-match totals but wider distribution across matches. Rather than focusing on star-driven rivalries, bettors explored a broader mix of markets with a stronger tilt toward totals and set-based options, suggesting greater interest in match structure itself.
The WTA Finals were dominated by live betting, with 80% of the total stake according to DATA.BET. Bettors reacted to tactical shifts and momentum changes rather than relying on pre-match assumptions. Market selection leaned toward totals and set-based outcomes. In total, 37.6% were match winner bets. The top matches by betting volume were Iga Świątek vs. Amanda Anisimova and Iga Świątek vs. Elena Rybakina.
Average single-bet size was higher on the women’s finals at 61.1% of the combined total. This showed fewer but larger wagers on WTA matches, while the ATP Finals generated more frequent, smaller bets.
