DATA.BET has launched in-stream betting, a new feature built for live stream wagering on mobile. The product keeps markets, odds and the bet slip inside the broadcast, so players do not have to leave the stream to place a bet. The release reflects how betting activity has shifted toward mobile and more fast, in-play experiences.
- DATA.BET said the feature is integrated at the frontend level and works within an operator’s existing streaming setup. Players can open or close the betting overlay during the live stream depending on how they want to follow the event. This approach allows in-stream betting to sit alongside the broadcast without disrupting the viewing flow.
- The rollout focuses on mobile usage, with most bets now placed on handheld devices. By keeping betting tools inside the stream, users can stay engaged with the event while placing wagers in real time. For operators, in-stream betting may help increase session length and repeat activity during live events.
- The feature launches first with virtual sports and is available to clients on request. DATA.BET said no backend work is required, which can speed up integration for operators. Rostyslav Likhtin, Head of Product at DATA.BE, noted: “In-Stream Betting is designed to meet players where their attention already is — inside the broadcast.”
