DAZN has made three changes to its senior management team. The DAZN leadership changes follow the company reaching profitability for the first time in 2025. All three executives report to CEO Shay Segev.

  • Patrick Delany has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. The former Foxtel Group CEO will oversee daily operations, including subscriber growth, pricing, sports rights and advertising. He recently managed Foxtel’s integration into DAZN.
  • Alex Gersh joins DAZN as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Darren Waterman. Gersh previously worked as CFO at Sportradar, Betfair and Paddy Power Betfair. He will oversee financial strategy, capital allocation and group performance.
  • Darren Waterman moves into the new Chief Business Officer role. The DAZN leadership changes will see the former CFO focus on partnerships, distribution and corporate transactions.
