Delasport has launched its sportsbook and casino platform with PlayBetNova.ca in Alberta, Canada. The Delasport Alberta launch follows its operations in Ontario. Alberta opened its regulated online gaming market in July 2026.

• Platform and services: Delasport provides PlayBetNova.ca with its sportsbook, casino, Player Account Management platform and Managed Services. The supplier already works with Betnova and TitanPlay in Ontario. The Alberta launch follows its registration with the province’s gambling regulator AGLC (Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis) as a Platform Provider and Critical Gaming Systems Supplier.
• Market figures: Alberta estimates that around 70% of local iGaming activity takes place with unregulated operators. According to Delasports, industry experts forecast around CAD 1.2 billion (ca. EUR 0.7 billion) in first-year GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue) for the regulated market. Ontario recorded CAD 3.2 billion (ca. EUR 2 billion)) in GGR during fiscal 2024-25.
• Expansion plans: The Delasport Alberta launch marks the supplier’s second Canadian provincial market. “Going live in Alberta with PlayBetNova.ca is another milestone in Delasport’s growth across regulated markets,” said CEO Oren Cohen Shwartz. The company plans to continue supporting Betnova’s expansion with its technology and Managed Services.
