Digitain has expanded its regulated footprint after receiving approval from the UK Gambling Commission. The supplier has been granted a licence covering real and virtual betting products. Its sportsbook and platform are now fully certified for the UK market, supporting the Digitain UK licence rollout.
The UK Gambling Commission granted Digitain a betting licence for real and virtual events on 2 February 2026. This approval enables the supplier to work directly with UK-licensed operators. The Digitain UK licence confirms alignment with local regulatory and compliance standards.
In parallel, Digitain’s sportsbook and platform have completed full UK market certification. This allows operators to integrate the technology without further certification processes. The approval covers system integrity, player protection measures and regulatory controls.
Commenting on the development, Digitain Group founder Vardges Vardanyan said the approval reflects the company’s regulated market strategy. “The UK is widely recognised as one of the most demanding regulatory environments in the global gaming industry,” he said. He added that meeting these standards supports long-term operator partnerships.
Group chief compliance officer Arshak Muradyan said the licence validates Digitain’s compliance-led approach. “The UK market demands continuous oversight, robust controls, and absolute transparency,” he said. Digitain added that it continues to invest in compliance frameworks and risk management as regulatory requirements evolve.
